A huge THANK YOU to Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers for your generous support to our school community! Your donation of gift cards, certificates, and gift baskets added so much excitement and joy to our Fridays as we celebrated our R.O.C.K Card Winners, and your kindness didn’t stop there—our staff felt truly appreciated thanks to your thoughtful contributions. We are so grateful for your partnership and for helping us recognize the hard work of our students and staff alike! 

We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. for your continuous support and dedication throughout the school year. From reading to our students during Love of Reading Week to volunteering your time and energy—especially on the hottest days—for Field Day, your commitment to our school community has been nothing short of amazing. Your presence has inspired our students and helped make our events even more meaningful. We appreciate all that you do!

We held our final Awards Assemblies of the school year! 🏅✨ To top it off, our kinder and 1st grade students twirled their way into our hearts with sweet ballet performances for their families (thank you, Ballet Tucson!) 🩰💕

Steve Freeman has been the School Community Liaison with Holladay Magnet School for two years. "I am surprised what some children have to go through to attend school. I am so glad to find ways to support them. I am grateful to the many grandparents who have stepped up to raise their grandchildren. It's been an eye-opening experience for me." Thank you for caring for our kids, Mr. Freeman!

Mr. Freeman was encouraged to apply for the job by his friend, Jeffrey Sawyer, who is currently a regional Program Coordinator with the Family Resource Centers.

Our Math Game Night was a total blast! Students put their skills to the test with Math Bingo, tricky Math Puzzles, and the always-fun Adding Dominoes! Huge thank you to everyone who came out and made the night such a success – we had a great time playing, learning, and laughing together! 

On April 2, our 1st grade teacher Ms. Montaño graduated from the Teacher Development Academy, officially becoming a teacher! We here at Holladay are beyond excited to be part of her journey and can't wait to see all the amazing things she'll bring to our community. Congratulations, Ms. Montaño!

Pima County Supervisor for District 5 Adelita Grijalva visited Holladay in celebration of Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta by sharing their history, activism and accomplishments with farm workers unions.
