Steve Freeman has been the School Community Liaison with Holladay Magnet School for two years. "I am surprised what some children have to go through to attend school. I am so glad to find ways to support them. I am grateful to the many grandparents who have stepped up to raise their grandchildren. It's been an eye-opening experience for me." Thank you for caring for our kids, Mr. Freeman!

Mr. Freeman was encouraged to apply for the job by his friend, Jeffrey Sawyer, who is currently a regional Program Coordinator with the Family Resource Centers.

Our Math Game Night was a total blast! Students put their skills to the test with Math Bingo, tricky Math Puzzles, and the always-fun Adding Dominoes! Huge thank you to everyone who came out and made the night such a success – we had a great time playing, learning, and laughing together! 

On April 2, our 1st grade teacher Ms. Montaño graduated from the Teacher Development Academy, officially becoming a teacher! We here at Holladay are beyond excited to be part of her journey and can't wait to see all the amazing things she'll bring to our community. Congratulations, Ms. Montaño!

Pima County Supervisor for District 5 Adelita Grijalva visited Holladay in celebration of Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta by sharing their history, activism and accomplishments with farm workers unions.
